Superior school! Kids feel welcome and loved when they come to school. The staff takes time to get to know each child (and family) as an individual.
I have two children who attend McGhee and I believe that both get an excellent education. I know that there appears to be an equal amount of focus on art as well as curricular activities. I believe that the safety of my child is there priority. I know that the principal personally knows both of my children and it's not because they are making bad choices. I do know that reading at McGhee is top priority. That is great as that is an essential piece for education. The staff are doing a great job of family involvement as well. I know when there are things at the school that require families to be present and we support the school in that effort.
