I am very happy with Dortothy Nolan overall. If it wasn't for my child's Kindergarten teacher, who is a master at photo copying dittos as her primary function, I would give it 5 stars. She never smiles and acts like the kids are an annoyance to her. Otherwise, I have only met kind, friendly, and very competent teachers and staff. Amazingly competent for the school's size.
There is no doubt in my mind that this school has some truly amazing adult leaders who are really dedicated to make a difference in the life of a child. While most would agree, the town of Wilton is an affulent community, I would hope that the needs of those children who don't learn by text book teaching won't be lost in the shuffle. Having extra curricular activities and parental involvement is nice to hear about. But what are we doing to insure that no child is truly left behind at Dorothy Nolan?
Dorohy Nolan has not given my chikdren what they have gotten from a previous school. Last time my cildren attended Dorothy Nolan there were more extra-curricular activities. I would love to see more offered to the lower grades.

What a great school! You do not realize there are over 900 children at this school since they split the building into K-2 and 3-5. The teachers we have encountered so far have all been excellent. The school staff goes above and beyond what you would expect. My children love this school. The old principal that left last school year was fabulous. The new one seems nice but we've only been back to school for 2 weeks - time will tell
