I love, love, love Kolter. My child is extremely happy while at the same time is being academically challenged. I don't believe there is a private school out there that could boast being any better than the academics at Kolter. The teachers are very caring and the new principal is extremely approachable. Admittedly, I was anxious about what would happen with a new principal, but that was put to rest right after the first week. She has indurred a pipe busting that flooded one of the halls overnite, smoke smell throughout the school, and then Ike all within a three week period and still has a good sense of humor. The language program is fantastic and the diversity amongst the school proves the point. I encourage anyone to come tour Kolter and see for yourself all it has to offer.

Our first year at Kolter and we were not pleased with the leadership of the staff. The non-responsiveness from teachers and administration to issues ranging from cleanliness to academics is lacking. The PTO is strong and parents are very involved - excellent, but failed to see support from staff. We were also disappointed in the manner in which inappropriate behaviors are dealt with or rather NOT dealt with... It's sad, because the teachers that do care are so overworked and stressed out - it shows...

Tremendous leadership, experienced/dedicated teachers, and engaged community environment. This school demonstrates over and over that it is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each student.
