My son is a fourth grader at this school. I don't feel he is getting the proper education. When I ask him how school went, his resopnse is usually about a fight or akid getting into trouble. I have volunteered my time with the school for four years now and have only recieved calls when my son was in kindergarden. I have each year given my phone number and e-mail address to my son's teacher's. To this day the only teacher to contact me was his kindergraden teacher. It took me two years to get my son's grades mailed to my house. Sice I have no control over where my son goes to school. He is stuck there. However if you have a choice send your kids some where else.
I am not impressed with this school at all. In October 2006, we moved to the district from Twin Peaks, Marana. This school is highly disorganized, there is an out control bullying problem, there is a real lack of supervision on the playground, in the luch room and most places within the school. My children were well behaved, and loved school before coming to this school, now my children hate going to school, and are starting to have behavior problems. There is almost no communication between school and home. Would not reccomend!
