Were you proud to say I went to 'your school' ? Well I can after attending the WSSD and even more so to have the ability to be sending my son there too. The previous reviews say it all, there is not much more you could ask of a public school system.
One of the hardest things I have ever done was to allow my children to live with their Dad all due to the wonderful High School they have and the most caring and in touch case managers looking over our children. They have long difficut days working with students add two seperate parent households they manage to get it all done. Mrs. Marino is the best I have ever worked with after 11 yrs in an other Del. Co. district that there is no comparison to her on going hard work. Always making sure I am up to date with both of my children.
WSSD cares about its schools and about ALL its students. High academic standards are maintained throughout the district. Equal emphasis is placed on arts and athletics. The community is very supportive and involved.
there acadmics are awesome and there teahers are very caring and genorus. The students are well behaved and disaplined and seem to be focused on college and life long goals. There are so many extracurricular activites about 85% of the schools student body is involved.The parent involvment is also terrific.This is a wonderful school
