Just transferred into area from an excellent Chicago suburban school system. The schools are very comparable. Very attentive to individual needs of kids. Excellent teacher/student relationships. Amazed at progress of my kindergartner. Great extracurricular opportunities too. Unusually so at the grade levels of my child at least. Very hi parent participation and very active PTO with direct hands on involvement. Very happy with school.
I have two childen attending AIE and it's been an excellent experience. The teachers and staff are A+ and trully care about the kids. I am always recommending this school to my neighbors and colleagues.
My daughter attends AIES and I love it! The IB program is great and the immersion program ( in french) is amazing! The principal and teachers are awsome and they really care about our kids. Lots of parent involvement.
I've had 3 children attend this school. Two are still there. It's a fantastic school. We have had high principal turnover but now have the original vice principal back as principal and she is amazing. Lots of parent involvement. Kids tend to be above average here. I do think, however, that the immersion program needs a re-haul. This is an IB public school. Most would pay to go to this school. Wonderful teachers.
