I graduated class of '08 and currently attend Virginia Tech. Deep Run was an awesome experience. The only thing that brought it down was the '09 class, if it weren't for them I would love this school. All I can say is deep run was a great school in the past. Great prep for college except for the social cliques.
I graduated from Deep Run last year, and it was the best High School, and most beautiful one at that. The teachers are amazing, except for a select few, and the sports teams are amazing!
I'm a sophomore at Deep Run and I love it! In regard to the post below me, I completely disagree. Deep Run is actually quite diverse, having the largest percentage of Asian students in Central Virginia. School spirit is great, teachers really care, and the opportunities are endless.
I am a senior and I have found this to be an amazing school with excellent academics, extracurriculars, and school spirit. However, I have found it to be a little overtly white, especially compared to our neighboring schools. I wish there was more diversity in culture and ethics to enrich our facility.
