I am a parent of a 9 year old attending ASM, and this is our second year at this school. I can't speak highly enough about this program. My daughter has a learning disability, and the teachers and administration bend over backwards to meet her needs. In addition, a few years ago they instituted a tutoring program within the school day, for students with diagnosed learning disabilities. It's a fabulous school! The Upper Elementary and Middle School programs are top notch.
We have attended the Andover School of Montessori for 9 years. Our two children have grown and blossomed. They have become wonderful, thoughtful learners, leaders, mentors, citizens, and people. They love going to school. The faculty and staff are very caring and are highly trained. This is a great community to educate your children.

My son has been a student here since pre-k. The overall atmosphere of the school is cozy. You definitely feel secure about your child being here. Parents are gracious, friendly & involved. Swearing, yelling, fighting & bullying are most stringently discouraged here. The atmosphere is the kind you had growing up, where all the teachers knew your name and who your parents were. The admin staff is most responsive to parents concern. The upper el (grades 5&6) program still needs to be fine-tuned. Attention for a boy's approach to learning & for those with learning special issues need to be accommodated more. Some parents leave, feeling their boys need more structure and guidance. If your child is a self-starter, organized & has strong verbal or written skills, you'll be ok. Many many pleasant memories at this school. I'll miss it dearly when my son moves on
