The reason I rate this school the way I did is because there is not enough seating in the cafeteria, the teachers are not involved enough with their students, and children are not happy.

Two of my children currently attend BHS. My oldest is in his second year at University and is on the Dean's list. The education provided at BHS is very good. The teachers are interested in the kids and keep in contact with parents if your child is having academic difficulties. I also work in the county. BHS has an excellent reputation with others in the community for it's teaching excellance and sports reputation. I am happy we choose to live in Bridgeport and that our children could attend BHS.

Both my children graduated from Bridgeport and are currently enrolled in college. I can say that I am glad when we moved to Harrison Co we lived in the Bridgeport school district. Both were involved in sports and the school and community supported was great. The teachers cared and took an interest in their classroom work. I would recommend this school to anyone moving into Harrison Co.

My children graduated from BHS & have gone on to do well in college. I feel the block scheduling did not help them with studying for college as the students had time to do homework in class. The teachers & principal are great. They care about the students. There are numerous opportunities in the curriculum for students to advace in their field. The extracurricular activities can be overwhleming, but have added a great deal to team leadership skills. Just like any high school, you get out of it what you put into it.
