Im a freshman as fort hamilton, and i have to say, i only saw a fight this year 1 or 2 times. I have absolutely no problems with anybody in this school. Fort Hamilton offers so many different programs. From weight training, bowling, swimming to many different bands and jrotc. I love Fort. every one here is super nice. The teachers here are like any other teacher. Do what they ask and you will go along fine. Some kids are disrespectful to the teachers and they are the ones that have problems. I heard there was drug problems (From another freshman. Not an adult to confirm it) but never have i ever crossed or actually saw drugs in the school besides cigarettes the seniors are smoking outside the school. There are not 5000 kids. The registered kids that are are about 4,300 kids. and only about 3000 show up. ilyfhhs

Im a freshman in fort. The school is very diverse, and that would be probably my favorite part about school. but everything else i think of about this school is bad. Too much kids (5000 in a school built for 2000). Then some teachers are disrespectful too kids. some are even racist and just there for money. There are fights almost everyday. a good amount Drug gang activity. the education itself is not bad if you get in a good class, but its so easy to fall through the cracks without anyone noticing until its too late because of the amount of kids. Sometimes i feel unsafe, but im guessing you get that feeling in any high school.
