I can not say enough about now wonderful this school is! Our daughter started at Aquarian this year after attending another alternative school in our district. We were concerned about her Math instruction and that was one of the deciding factors in moving her. She is excelling in every area and the school is so well run. Kids are happy and the environment is nurturing. All of us, including our daughter couldn't be happier.
This is a magical place where all children find a love for learning. They have gardening and recycle to teach care of our earth. They have a yellow lab therapy dog named Tess and a pup in training named Sophie that love all that come to Aquarian. Thats it-- the place is just full of love... and my children thrive in this setting. Thank you thank you! Jan, a parent
This school is by FAR a 10. Our test scores are high even though we are more diverse than other optional and charter schools in the area. I suggest you look at the diversity factor before you give schools a rating. My children are thriving here--and have a love for learning that they have never had before. The principal and teachers are the very best!!
Aquarian is a creative and caring school that values parent and community involvement. All rooms are happy and exciting with bright colors, classroom pets, and wonderful materials to encourage learning. They have a very strong gifted program that also includes the non-gifted children in the classrooms to build real community. The staff is the best I have ever seen--they truely care about every child. Very little discipline here as parents and staff really do a great job comunication about the needs of each child. This is a very high quality experience- the only probelm is being able to get your child in on the lottery as it is a public/charter school and they have hundreds of kids on a waitlist at times. visit and you will see what I mean the minute you enter the door! a parent
