The quality of academic programs is great, the teachers in that school really care about the students and try to make learning fun. There are a variety of after school activites: sewing club, scrabble club, chess, sports, and craft clubs. They teach industrial technology, drama, art, music, band and pe. Parent involvement is good but about 50% of parents belong to the PTO. They do have a fundraiser(magazines)to try to raise money.
This school has changed my life. I have greatly improved in everything, from math to social studies. I truly loved my teachers. They had a great impact in my life. Go Algonquin!
