Arthur F. Smith has experienced tremendous growth in the area of academic, social, and personal growth. The faculty and staff are committed to producing an 'academically sound learning institution' for the students who attend our school. In the near future, our school will be one of academic excellence. I invite you to also become a part of this commitment to the success of our students.
This is a great school; however, we receive a lot of abuse from the media and outsiders. Before formulating an opinion about us, please come and check us out. Pop up unannounced, come and sit in our classes. Just give us a chance! We do care about all of our students and yes, we are teaching--everyday!!
Not all the teachers there are bad. I know some are there that care. It is some of the bad children whose parents haven't taught them any respect for there elders and others that cause problems. These are just a few of the teachers that do care... Ms.Johnson,Mr.Holiday,Ms.Dearborn, Ms.Robinson,Ms.Butler,Ms.Valley,Ms.Gentle, Mr.Corly,Ms.Rayme,Mr.Reizner,and Ms.Long.Also Ms.Swaffort,Mr.Brasher,and Mr.Pachio.
Parents, your help is greatly needed to ensure your child's education. Stop talking and start working. Come in and volunteer, come and audit your child classroom. Come unannounced and watch your child in action. Show concern and love for your child and their education. Be there when the teacher calls, hear both sides of story before you poing the fingers. The parents and the students plans the major role in their education. It is not only the teacher's job to educate the students. Parents, it is yours too. Stop the blame game. Get involved. Arthur smith as a lot for you to do. Call and find out what it is you can do. Parents, you are needed in this system. Your support is the most valuable assests to your child's education.
