My child was in private school for 4 years and this was the first year that she attended public school. I have been very pleased with the extra activities that the school has had. Each activity that my child participated in was geared toward CRCT preparation. I appreciate the creative approach that the new principal Mrs. Curry has brought to the school. I did notice after attending the various activities that there the parent participation is very low. The school and staff need parent involvement to develop successful student.

My child attend Fairview. I was proud of this school because the Principal Mrs. Dubuis was a principal who really care about the children educational learn. This year their is a new Principal there, she seem not the care about the children education but seem to be more into extra actives, like the children are in middle or high school. I think the CRT scores will be very low this year. I see that the teachers are less involved in the students than last year when Ms Dubuis was there. The weekly report came home with no comment on them. This school loss a lot when we loss a great person and lead like Mrs. Dubuis. I feel like the new Principal is set our children up for failure because she more into extra activies vs educating our children.
Fairveiw is an excellent school. I just moved here from Florida and my son has attended this school for the last 4 1/2 months. He has showed tremendous progress all around and I credit Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Matters for his sucess so much that I want him to repeat kindergarten with them next year. Thanks to you all for a sucessful year! MThomas
