Outdoor space is anemic and short changes students when it comes to quality physical development. Teachers generally are doing as well as can be expected considering the limited resources they have. All staff at this adjunct school seem genuinley attuned to student needs and feelings.
This school proposes a bilingual education based on the French-canadian model but falsl very short of acheiving this lofty goal. Not only this but the way they have implemented their bilingual curriculum is going to do more harm than good to the students attending school. think BICS vs. CALP!!

This wonderful school is being confused with its sister school The Accelerated School (TAS). The Accelerated elementary school (ACES) is a wonderful dual language charter school it has less than 75 students all under the fourth grade. While their State Test scores are low that is common in most dual language schools. Please also keep in mind that the only year the test scores would even count is for the past two school years. Second and third grade. The school has only been open for four years. The school also has a progressive and eclectic after school enrichment program. They offer cricket (the most popular sport for the boys the love it), sign language African drumming, ballet folklorical, crochet (also very popular with the boys) photography and computers(mac). Aces rates a 9 in my book I defend this gem
