The parent involvement and staff teamwork is amazing. The teachers and staff go above and beyond their physical limits. There are some dedicated teachers that stay until 7 pm working on materials and curriculum. Talk about dedication.

I am very impressed with the majority of the teachers and the ourstanding parent participitaion. I have the honor to work with students on the playground and I feel we have some of the best yound people in the area and I take pride in seeing many reading on their recess time. I am proud to have my children attending Esperanza, and I am proud to be a small part of it's staff.
My daughter has been with Esperanza for 3rd and now 4th grade. Her 3rd grade teach Mr. Anderson was a pleasure, he really cares about his students. Her 4th grade teacher Mrs. Queen also cares. She has more of a challenge, she is teaching a 3rd/4th grade class. Honestly I am not happy about this. Thank god my daughter is as strong of a student as she is. I believe the problems with the school boil down to not enough time in a day, not enough school funds, short handed with teachers, along with the general challenges of the teachers trying to teach within the LAUSD and Arnolds decisions to always cut public school funds. I have had no problems with the teachers, crossing guards, and basic office staff. My daughter was at a private christian school for k-2 and I think it may have given her an accademic advantage.
