I have a daughter attending Danny Jones and will be entering into the 9th grade @ Timberview. Danny Jones is an awesome school, curriclum is excellent pre AP and regular classes. Students are very well manner and discpline. I really enjoyed the size of the school compared to the other Middles School in Mansfield. If you are looking for academic then you have the right school, sports not so great.
I really think that DJMS is a fabulous school. We just moved to the Mansfield area from out state. I've been very pleased with the school thus far. It is very orderly and well managed by the administration. Curriculum and instruction seems to be the main focus of the school.
Some of the teachers are good. Counselor not to competent in handling girl fight issues. Principal is pretty fair and knowledgable.Overall good experience at this school for my kid.
Overall, I'm not impressed with this campus. The parent involvement is minimal. The dress code is rarely enforced. My daughter takes all pre AP classes and is in band. Only algebra has been challenging for her this year. The growth has not been managed efficiently. I refuse to allow my younger children attend this school.
