My daughter is in 7th grade and this school has the best teachers and administrators in the district. The AVID program is great and is teaching better study and learning skills. It's a shame more District 7 parents did not take advantage of the Triple A program. I expect this program will take off once the work gets out. I only hope it survives the first year.

Carver is an excellent school. The principal and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. My child is in the 7th grade this year, and she is learning so much. Anyone that sends there child to Carver, will be very happy with the outcome.

I attend this school now. I am in the 8th grade. Even though I thought that Carver was a bad school, it is actually a pretty good school and has the best teachers I've ever had!

All 3 of my daughters attended Carver and I have one of the 3 who will be graduating this year. All of them have had problems academically, but after we sat down and discussed the importance of an education for their future, we saw some better results. I believe that my girls have received good training for their future because the teachers can only teach them so much. The rest is going to have to come from home. The principal, the teaching staff, the parents, and the students have to work together to make the school successful. The academic programs are good and there are numerous extracurricular activities for the students to choose from. The parents at Carver do get involved and like myself I don't get to attend many of the PTSO meetings but when I can I'm there.
