I wouldn't recommend you to send your child to this school. My child was disrespected by other children and teachers. The after school program wasn't intersesting at all and the academic rates arn't that great eighter. This school relys on parents to do much of the work. The staff and teachers were very rude to my child and misunderstanding. On numerous occasions my 4th grader has reported to me about her teachers and peers 'accidently' using fowl language. This school is very much in debt and I'm happy to see their doors closing. I hope my review helped!

I have been a part of this school for 4 years now and I have seen growth each year in the students, staff and leadership. This will be an exemplary school before you know it.

J Will Jones Elementary is more than a school; its a family. An outstanding learning community where students are actively engaged and individually challenged to enjoy and succeed in their education. The teachers and leadership strive everyday to reach new heights with children. Programs include an intensive curriculum around CORE subjects as well as exciting and innovative enrichment activities such as fine arts and an on-campus television studio and media lab. Community involvement is also a plus with contributors such as Chevron Texaco, Keller Williams Metropolitan, Linebarger, Goggan, Blair & Sampson Law Firm, and Wells Fargo. Led by principal Brian Flores, the school continues to power ahead into the 21st century. Under his leadership, test scores have steadily made new gains, students have the tools to succeed and they consistently break new ground insuring their place as leaders of academic and character excellence.
