About the Tests
- In 2006-2007 Georgia administered End-of-Course Tests (EOCT) in 9th grade literature & composition, American literature and composition, algebra I, geometry, physical science, biology, United States History and Economics/Business/Free Enterprise at the completion of each course.
- The EOCT is a standards-based assessment, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined by
the state of Georgia.
- The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
