St. John the Baptist Parish School District
Know your school choice options in Louisiana.
In Louisiana your child can attend any school in the district (called intradistrict choice) or outside the district (interdistrict choice) if the school your child is enrolled in is considered low performing. Your child can also attend any school outside the district as long as the receiving school has entered into an agreement with your current school.Under the federal No Child Left Behind law, students attending a Title I school designated as “in need of improvement” have the right to attend a higher performing school in the district.
