In the Cobb County School District (CCSD) students are assigned to a school based on where they live. Students also have the option to attend a charter school or, at the high school level, one of six magnet high schools.Under the federal No Child Left Behind law, students attending a Title I school designated as "in need of improvement" have the right to attend a higher-performing school in the district.
