| Teacher experience |
|
This shows the percentage of teachers by years of experience. Although experience alone is not an indicator of
teacher effectiveness, schools or districts with a high percentage of teachers with 0-3 years of experience may face
difficulties. This is because teachers with limited experience may be less skilled at managing the challenges of classroom
instruction. Conversely, a high percentage of teachers with more than 10 years experience may point toward a lack of fresh
ideas and innovative teaching methods. In general, the most effective schools have a combination of experienced and new
teachers, and create opportunities for all teachers to learn from each other.
