Staffing ratios: This table gives some insight into the level of staffing in this district. The total number of staff for selected positions is in the first column. All staff numbers are full-time equivalents. (For example, two people each working half-time count as one full-time equivalent position.) The number of students per staff member in the second column can be used to compare staffing levels in this district to levels in other districts of different sizes or to the average for this state. Date/source: This information is current as of the 2002-2003 school year. The National Center for Education Statistics is the source for numbers of students and staff, as reported in Spring 2004. GreatSchools.net computed the ratios for the district and the state. Additional information: The count of teachers includes those who teach specialized subjects as well as regular classroom teachers. Because all types of teachers are included in computing the students per teacher, the ratio is likely to be lower than the average size of regular classes in the district. Clerical workers and other support staff are not included in any of the staffing numbers. |
