On the DonorsChoose.org Web site, public school teachers across the U.S. share their ideas for specific classroom projects for their students, then, citizen philanthropists like you choose projects to support, and hear back from these classrooms. The mission of DonorsChoose.org is to improve public education by helping to ensure that kids in every community have the resources they need to learn by providing an easy way for everyday people to make a difference in public schools.

To date, 75,000+ donors have used DonorsChoose.org to help 49,500+ public school teachers secure $23 million in resources!
