In the Denver County Public School District (DPS) your child may attend your neighborhood school or any school in the district, regardless of where you live, so long as there is space. The First Round for Choice Enrollment is in January. The Second Round enrollment period is from early March through late August. You may also apply to attend charter or magnet schools in the district; these schools have their own applications and enrollment periods.Under the federal No Child Left Behind law, students attending a Title I school designated as "in need of improvement" have the right to attend a higher-performing school in the district.
