- Our mission is to guide, nurture and support the development of the full human potential.
The Barbara Gordon Montessori School provides a carefully prepared learning environment in accordance with AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) principles and guidelines. We prepare each student to be an independent, productive member of society by promoting responsibility, self-expression and confidence, respect for others and a life-long love of learning.

Instructional Program Highlights
- Non-competitive, cooperative learning atmosphere develops confident learners with a high sense of self-esteem.

Parent and Community Support
- We have an active Parent Organization which sponsors fundraising events, family socials, and parent education events. The Dad's club provides a forum for the rewarding interaction between fathers and their children, and sponsors 3 yearly events including a weekend camping trip.

- Barbara Gordon Montessori is the only fully recognized AMI school in Northeast Tarrant County. Our teachers are degreed,experienced, and AMI certified.
A 9 acre wooded campus with separate home-like classroom buildings provides a peaceful, inspiring environment for students to explore and discover.
