- The mission of Rafaela T. Barrera Elementary is to provide a safe, positive, and challenging environment which will promote a desire for life long learning and will meet the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional needs of each child. This will be accomplished through a team effort of parental, teacher, administrative, and community support and will ensure that all students reach their full potential as productive members of society.
