- Recent or upcoming renovations: In the 2008-2009 school year, William Blount is acquiring the William Blount Middle School building to house our new freshman academy. The freshman academy is being to planned to target academic success and give 9th graders a extra year to transition into high school.
- Gymnasium and physical education facilities: William Blount has a 2000 seat gymnasium,practice gym, updated weight room, 5000 seat football stadium,field house, baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, and a 440 yard eight lane refurbished track.
- Library facilities: The library at WIllaim Blount High School is designed to accomodate up to 100 students at a time. The library has a 20-computer lab and a twenty-four computer attached lab. The library subscribes to 25 publications and has a large reference section. Students use the library for a variety of projects.
