- Parents join our active PTA (Parent Teacher Asssosiation) and our SIC (School Improvment Council). We have volunteer opportunites for parents all year. Parents help with programs in reading, Accelerated Reader, and Math, Math Superstars. They also help coordinate school wide events sucha as our Fall Festival and Red Ribbon Week activities.

- Fork Shoals inquiry-based philosophy of education takes students on a journey through their studies with integrated units of instruction. Children are encouraged to ask questions and seek out knowledge as they develop in to well-rounded international citizens.
