"We relocated from Henderson NV, where my son attended a private school (the Henderson Internaitonal School) , and I could not made a better choice. My son loves everyone in this school, I always keep my son on the next level, at home we are teaching him 4th grade math and language arts. We are a multi racial household, but I keep my son ahead of his shool year because, my son is 8 years old curetly in 3rd grade and reading at an AR level of 5th grade. I understand the concern of htis being a community shcool. I agree the distric should be more forward to determine the household geographical attendance. THose who invest in their communities should reap the benefits of thier efforts. I have not seen major score testing, and I do not think my child has not enough homework. "

"I am thrilled with High Point Elementary. My son just started Kindergarten. He loves his teacher, he is learning so much and the school administrators really care. We chose High Point over a private school and could not be happier."

"This would be a wonderful neighborhood school if any of the kids in the neighborhood went there. Unfortunately, I found out too late that the local parents send there children elsewhere. The reason? Crowded clasroons, inexperienced teachers, very little English spoken, poor test scores, and lax supervision. This school will NEVER be a neighborhood school until the administration gets out of denial and fizes these problems. "

"Look at the CRCT scores on this website. The numbers don't lie. it is not suprising that High Point students score well below average on English. Just visit the campus any day, any time and you will see for yourself. the redistricting is the best thing that's ever happened for my daughter's future. Bye bye High Point!"
