"The teachers try very hard for each child to have a bright future and great things in life to come."

"my child has attended this school for the last 3 years. i would not recommend anyone sending their child to jacksboro elementary. this past school year i requested several meetings and sent several letters requesting a phone call or meeting. needless to say i never recieved eiher. also from feb 2009 o the end of school my son had 9 different substitues instead of his actual teacher. she was unable to come and sit in classroom and teach her students but could show up for end of year field rip nd walk all day. and they wonder wht our children are not getting the education they need. instead of getting rid of a caring principle maybe they should get rid of the teachers who dont teach our kids"

"My children have been to differant schools in campbell county and they LOVE jacksboro the best. The teachers are great and care about the education of our kids. Go JES!!"

"AS a parent of a child at this school, I would like to say that it is a wonderful school. My child is learning so much with her teacher. I have found that parents are involved. Parents need to step up to go the extra mile to volunteer at school. Teachers are overworked and have become used to non-involvement from parents that sometimes they do not ask for help. I would recommend this school. It is also overcrowded because people from all over the county want to send their children to Jacksboro to get a good education. "

"The quality of the education that my child has received while attending this school is about average with the rest of the community as a whole. There is absolutely no parent involvement at this school whatsoever and I don't appreciate the fact of parent visitation being until 6pm and you show up at 5:30 and no one be there. The teachers do not show themselves friendly nor are they helpful. If you are a working parent like me, you are on your own. My child is in 3rd grade and I still have not met the teacher this year. I think it is pathetic."
