"SLH is a great school! The teachers are very dedicated. I have three children in the school and I am very pleased. The children enjoy the art and music as well as the academics. It is a wonderful small community with involved parents."

"Great small school that provides excellent instruction and caring. Excellent staff and leadership. Won Governor's School of Excellence in NJ. Involved and active parents; supportive community. Just recognized for outstanding in house services in special education."

(August 2004)
"SLH school is very dedicated to the students and parents as well. The staff is consistently looking for ways to keep the children interested in learning. I am a former graduate of the school and currently have 2 children enrolled. Both of whom have totally different personalities and forms of learning. The school recognizes and takes into account that each child is different and works with the parents to make sure that they have the utilities to be as progressive as possible in their classes. Every school has bumps but this one I consider to be very smooth."

"I have a son with a special education eligibiity. I found the school adinistration and teachers very dedicated to ensuring that he have every possible advantage and assistance possible. They have offerred many services, not provided in other states. They have been dedicated to insuring that he remain 'mainstreamed' and not isolated from peers. I insisted that he not undergo standardized testing. The school provided an atmosphere where he could tolerate testing and ws unconcerned that his scores would affect the schols 'report card'. I give this school an A plus. Their concern for identifying students early with special needs is to their credit, this gives the children a better chance in life."
