School Mission
- Why choose Waldron Mercy Academy from the many independent, private elementary schools on the Main Line? We add the extra dimension of religion, respect and responsibility. Our school continues the mission of Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy. We connect the rich to the poor and the healthy to the sick through community outreach programs. We celebrate academic progress and encourage students to develop the confidence necessary to assume responsible membership and leadership in the global community. At Waldron Mercy, students address the needs of others through acts of service. They learn to serve not merely out of charity, but from a developing sense of social justice. Children learn in an atmosphere of openness, trust, hospitality and outreach. This charism of Mercy based upon the Christian values of faith, hope and love is the guiding principle of our school.
