  • Athletics:
Our purpose is to develop Christian principles and character by being a part of the team. Developing the strongest of work ethics, always striving to do our best, never quitting, and learning life lessons along the way. To compete at the highest level of athletic competition, while never compromising our testimony for the Lord Jesus Christ, while reaching out to the community in a positive way wherever our endeavors take us.
  • Fine Arts:
Our Fine Arts Department is growing with creative and talented students! So far this year, our grandparents were treated to many areas of Fine Arts on Grandparents Day. Music, Drama, and Dance were all represented. It is our goal to give LMCA students many opportunities to get involved in the arts.

Upcoming events for this year include, Seussical the Musical, Elementary Christmas Musical, Spring 4th & 5th Musical, Senior Dance Concert, and Art Exhibits. Keep an eye out for auditions, events, and performances, by your LMCA Fine Arts Department.
  • Apple 1-to-1 Program:

Parent and Community Support
  • Parents are encouraged to volunteer and eventually serve in parent-leadership opportunities we provide at the school. LMCA coordinates events that are open to the public like our Harvest Festival and our students are encouraged to serve in local ministries and organizations throughout the valley. LMCA also provides opportunities for area business to partner with our school through donation and service.

Other news or notes
  • LMCA offers a curriculum which is rooted in a God-centered view of life. The spiritual must permeate all areas else we become textbook-oriented rather than student-oriented.

Our philosophy requires the implementation of a challenging academic program - for only through this will we produce students with an excellent basic education which will equip them for any future calling of the Lord’s choosing. We purpose to instill in our students a love for learning which will result in their high school graduation being only one of many academic goals accomplished throughout their lifetime.

College and Work Preparation
  • 80-100% of graduates go to 2-year colleges.
  • 80-100% of graduates go to 4-year colleges.

Technology and Facilities
  • 2 students per computer.
  • 100% of classrooms are connected to the Internet.
  • This school offers wireless internet (wi-fi) access to students.
  • This school was established between 1980-1989.
  • No transportation is provided to this school.
  • This school was built in 1998.
  • Gymnasium and physical education facilities: We have a full gymnasium with the ability to use up to six basketball hoops at one time or two volleyball courts. Our gym holds close to 350 spectators. Several times a year we will fill it to capacity. This is unique when compared to other schools, it feels like we go back in time to a small school setting (Hoosier style), where the entire school community comes out to watch the young people compete. What an opportunity for parents to send their children to a school that has an excellent spiritual, educational, and athletic program. In addition our kids stay involved athletically throughout the summer being seen by college scouts on a regular basis. This makes us one of the best small school spiritual, academic, and athletic programs in the Las Vegas, Henderson area.
  • Library facilities: The LMCA library is a newer addition to our campus and is boasting many activities. Serving all of the elementary as well as one of the K-5 classes, we have seen an excitement for reading development in our students. It is also used for some of the middle school students’ computer classes. We are starting two book clubs, one for the middle school and one for the high school. In addition we have developed a section catering to the parents including fiction and non-fiction books. We have added several resources to this section to better serve our parents. Our library has a lot of traffic from staff, students and parents. Based primarily on donations we have seen our collection grow to nearly 5,000 books in a short amount of time, but are consistently looking to develop it more.
