Curriculum

  • Special education programs designed specifically for students with autism, serious emotional disturbance, hearing impairments, language or speech impairment, specific learning disabilities, limited intellectual functioning, orthopedic impairments, multiple disabilities and other health impairments.
 
 
Instructional Program Highlights
  • We offer over 30 credits hours of course work through our local college (Peru State College).
  • We offer a well rounded curriculum that allows students to explore areas that could be of interest to them.
  • Students have the oppotrunity to expand beyond the building curriculum by taking on-line classes offered by our staff and other outside agencies.

Activities and Sports
  • Girls sports: basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, track and volleyball.
  • Boys sports: basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, tennis, track and wrestling.
  • Clubs and extra-curricular activities include: FBLA -(Future Business Leaders of America); FLA - (Future Leaders of America); NHS - (National Honor Society); Skills USA; Student Council - Student Advisory Board and Math-Science Club.
  • This school has the following art(s) programs: orchestra, band, theater/drama, art and chorus.
 
 
Parent and Community Support
  • We highly encourage parental and community involvement within our school building. We currently have several school / community projects such as our FBLA-local business sponsorships.
