School Mission
- Welcome to Kitty Hawk Elementary- Home of the "Falcons." Our school is located on the North Carolina Outer Banks.Kitty Hawk's outstanding staff is dedicated to instructional excellence and was awarded a North Carolina Honor School of Excellence for 2003-2004 , 2004-2005, and 2005-2006. This award is presented by the State of North Carolina to only the highest achieving schools.Our Mission: Kitty Hawk Elementary School seeks to create a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through development-appropriate instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles. Our school promotes a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment. Each student's self-esteem is fostered by positive relationships with students and staff. We strive to have our parents, teachers, and community members actively involved on our students' learning.
