  • AASD's Mission, as a part of the Georgia Department of Education, is to lead the nation in improving student achievement for learners who are Deaf and Hard-Of-Hearing.

Curriculum

The school provides frequent and comprehenive communications to parents to ensure that they can be full partners in their child's education.

  • AASD is the only state-supported day school program for deaf and hard-of-hearing children in Georgia. Students come from approximately 31 different school districts in and around the Atlanta area, and as far away as Bibb County(Macon)Georgia. There is no charge to parents for transportation, school enrollment, books or supplies. Breakfast and Lunch are at no cost.
