- The purpose of The Learning Gate Community School is to prepare students to successfully participate in their family, school, community and workplace through an educational program that promotes academic excellence, improves social skills and stimulates our students to be lifelong learners. We believe every child has gifts, strengths and natural curiosities that flourish in a caring and safe environment.

- Learning Gate is truly a unique school and therefore many of the questions asked on the survey can not adequately reflect the true environment of the school and the setting. Teachers have the flexibility (within boundaries) to choose "how" they teach the required educational standards. That flexibility allows for creativity and the ability to take advantage of teachable moments.
