School Mission
- Barrett will promote skills for learning, knowledge, and an appreciation of ideas and values so that all students will be prepared to enter society and further students on learning safaris into environments ranging from Asian jungles to African plains. The Ocean Journey aquarium provides accurate information about the ecosystems along the Colorado River and the Indonesian River. It also allow students to identify many of the fish, birds, mammals and other animals living in these two ecosystems. Students will be motivated to learn more about the potential threats to these fragile ecosystems and what actions can be taken to preserve and protect our aquatic world. These two exciting approaches to learning motivates students in all areas of the curriculum and provides them with lifelong learning skills.
