School Mission
- School Vision and Mission
A successful school promotes students who are able to operate at an independent level as an independent level as a result of the curriculum and skills taught at that school. To that end, the Loma Verde School community identifies literacy in language arts, social science, mathematics, and science as key components in the intellectual skills of a well educated child. Each child from Loma Verde School will be literate in the core subjects and will have the ability to use basic skills and strategies of teaming. In the primary grades, Loma Verde’s key responsibility is to teach children how to read and write in their primary language. In the intermediate grades, it is to help children gain fluency and confidence in reading and writing so that they can learn.
