School Mission
- Sequoia is a fine model of an urban learning community, serving Kindergarten through 5th Grade, with 16 self-contained classrooms and one Special Day Class for students designated as Severely Emotionally Disturbed. Sequoia reflects a richly diverse community, culturally, ethnically, and socio-economically. It is our mission to provide a powerful education to all students, enabling them to become effective, contributing citizens to our democratic society.

- Special education programs designed specifically for students with autism, serious emotional disturbance, hearing impairments, language or speech impairment, specific learning disabilities, limited intellectual functioning, orthopedic impairments, visual impairments, multiple disabilities and other health impairments.
