School Mission
- The mission of Tempe Preparatory Academy (TPA) is to enable students, grades 7-12, to acquire critical reasoning and communication skills and to explore the cultural and scientific achievements that are at the heart of the liberal arts and sciences. No less important, TPA will foster a scholastic environment that emphasizes uncompromising integrity, creative imagination, community service and a lifelong quest for learning.

Instructional Program Highlights
- Tempe Prepatory Academy is a traditional liberal arts school with small classes, a core curriculum designed for university & college bound students, an ethos in our identity as a "community of learners."
- A core curriculum: all students take fine arts, science, math, language (Latin & modern), English & history/humanities each year from grade 7 through 12.
- No class has more than twenty students, allowing close interaction between teacher and students and among students themselves.
- High school literature and history are studied in the context of a daily two-hour Humane Letters seminar.

- Recent or upcoming renovations: Tempe Prep is located in a very modest facility. Our richness in learning is found in the quality of our faculty, students and parents. Our facility was previously a church which we have rennovated for school use. This past summer we were fortunate to experience a face lift with new furniture, paint and carpet.
- Gymnasium and physical education facilities: While we have a thriving athletic program, we do not have any athletic facilities other than an outdoor weight room. We rent external facilities for our practices and games.
- Library facilities: Our library is like the rest of our school, small and humble. The library contains resource texts that are primarily used by our faculty.
